Sometimes it pays to talk with other RV folks. The Buckskin Mountain State Park was a tip we got in Moro Bay and it turned out very nice. The park is very well maintained and we stayed 3 days. We both feel this was a place to spend a week or so. Nice fellow campers and a room with a view
Enough time to focus on cheesy tourist things. Here are the "Kids from Lopez" posing b/4 THE "London Bridge" transported to Havasu City by a developer in the mid 60's.
But more to our style was a walk along the Bill Williams National Wildlife Preserve
He was born 1781 -- headed off at some point to convert the First Nations folks but the experience transformed him instead and he spent the rest of his life as a mountain man living with the rhythms of the earth.
