Arizona is different

We are in Parker, AZ.  We shop in Safeway and only 20% of the license plates have an Arizona logo!  Clearly we have arrived in RV heaven.  We even see Texas and Florida -- what do they have to complain about?

Second observation . . .

Flags are EVERYWHERE. On peaks, businesses, homes.  Folks here feel really patriotic -- which is interesting because we ( in our sheltered "Progressive" enclave) feel Arizona politics (/ people) are not part of the same country. Maybe we have at least this much in common:  We all want something good to happen -- the problem is we differ about what "good " is and how "good" can be generated.
