Tucson AZ

We've been out of touch recently, largely because we've had such a good time here in Tucson!  We love this place.  In addition to enjoying authentic Mexican cuisine, terrific margaritas, walks among the cacti, and 80 degree temperatures, we had two delightful days with our dear friends Lee and Barbara Beach.

Our visit ended with a  3 mile "Monday Night" walk event in downtown Tucson.  This happens every Monday evening and they have now done it 37 times -- it's a point thing -- Barbara is working towards the Purple t-shirt award.  It was good for us as well as we've not been nearly as active as we thought we would be.

That said, this particular Monday evening in Tucson included a steady rain component -- fortunately we are Seattle natives so we felt right at home.
