Catching up . . .

Blog entries:

Clearly, life is more fun when we are not dealing with "challenges!".

As we mentioned in our "tooth disaster" post -- we arrived on the coast just b/4 a long 3 day weekend -- so all the usual spots were booked up.  We located a spot that should ring some bells with local friends ---  a reservoir called "Lopez Lake".  As you can clearly see in this photo --

the reservoir is only 43% full -- another indication of the drought's impact.  Still a sign at the "marine" indicated 43,000 pounds of fish were extracted last year while only 9,500 pounds were added.  So, the fish are happy and so are the anglers.  We choose to take a nice walk with Karen, Jim, and their pet Sophie.

That's all for now -- more tomorrow
