Not very far from home . . .

But at least we got away from the dock (!). Final preparations always take longer than expected so it is not that surprising that we did not get away until 3 this afternoon. We made our way to Blind Bay --  maybe 5 miles from our slip.  Frankly, this approach has been a god-send in the past because it is here that we discover what isn't working or what we've forgotten.  It's only an hour back to the dock,

Tonight our anchorage was favored by an old time schooner -- the Adventuress.

And Mary hit it out of the park with a Taco Salad

What's not to like about this(?).

We're on our way.

Glad to hear you are on your way. The cool water looks so inviting to those of us stuck in Tucson for the summer!
