Get Ready: Part 1

Today we are less than three weeks out from our planned departure.  So, we really are in "Get Ready" mode.  I am certain the "To-Do" list will be extensive.   I'll start with:

Get the truck set-up so that we can 

• connect the truck to the trailer's lights, brakes, and battery
• lock the tailgate
• hide bed contents

Get the trailer examined to make sure:

• the brakes are good
• the axial bearings have grease

We've got "Mike the Mechanic" scheduled -- just have to deliver the truck/trailer Monday morning.  Part of my learning process being retired is that we don't have to do everything ourself (!). Costs a little - saves alot on the nerves - end product is usually much better (:-)!  I'm learning.
